Dr. Ali Jahanzaib Haider is currently a PGY-3 Resident in Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas. He is extensively trained in advanced radiation techniques, including IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR brachytherapy, with specialized rotations at the MD Anderson Cancer Center at UTMB and the Houston Methodist Neal Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center.


Dr. Haider received his medical degree from UTMB’s John Sealy School of Medicine in 2023, graduating with honors and recognized for excellence in clinical rotations and research. Prior to medical school, he completed a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Biomedical Sciences and Psychology, with a minor in Neuroscience at Texas A&M University, graduating summa cum laude.


His research interests are primarily focused on radiation therapy outcomes, particularly in breast cancer, glioblastoma, and invasive micropapillary carcinoma. His research achievements include a third-place award at the American Rhinology Society (ARS) Conference, with publications featured in the American Journal of Rhinology and Allergy.
