Austin Faught is a board certified medical physicist and faculty member in the Department of Radiation Oncology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. His research interests are focused on better understanding how proton therapy can improve outcomes in pediatric cancers. Austin serves as the manager of the Department’s IT and informatics core as well as supervising both students and postdocs. He is active in the American Association of Physicists in Medicine having served on the Working Group on Medical Physics Graduate Education Program Curriculum and currently as an active member of the Work Group on Particle Beams and Vice-Chair to Task Group 362 – Multi-lesion Stereotactic Radiosurgery.
