Austin Sim, MD, JD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at The Ohio State University James Cancer Center. He specializes in the management of gastrointestinal and hematologic malignancies and has research interests in MR-guided adaptive radiotherapy, optimizing combinations of radiotherapy with CAR-T therapy, and leadership/professional development. He studied Biochemistry and Finance at Washington University in St. Louis prior to pioneering the dual MD/JD program at the University of Virginia, where he served as the President of AOA and on the Article Review Board of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. He completed his residency at Moffitt Cancer Center, where he served as Chief Resident and received the inaugural Louis B. Harrison Resident Leadership Award. He currently serves as the Inaugural Chair of the Early Career Committee and on the New Investigators Committee of NRG Oncology.
