Aviva Berkowitz, MD

Aviva is a PGY-5 Radiation Oncology Chief Resident at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She received her medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital. Her clinical and research interests include applications of stereotactic body radiation therapy and immunotherapy in the treatment of non small cell lung cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and oligometastatic disease. She is also the current Chair of the Radiosurgery Society Resident Committee, and is working on launching a resident driven webinar series focusing on mentorship and career development in SRS/SBRT.
