Brandon Godinich, MBA, MHA
Brandon Godinich is a fourth-year medical student at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (PLFSOM). His research focuses on cancer misinformation, sexual health disparities among cancer survivors, and the role of adaptive radiotherapy in improving treatment outcomes for cancer patients. Mr. Godinich has presented his work at major national conferences, including ASCO and ASTRO, with multiple abstracts selected for oral and poster presentations. His current projects explore addressing disparities in Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) oncology care, investigating patient-reported awareness and value of Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) tests, and evaluating social isolation and affordability barriers among cancer caregivers. In addition to his research, Mr. Godinich serves as Vice President of the Admissions Ambassador Program at PLFSOM and has mentored over hundreds of premedical students through academic, interview, and professional development advising. He is passionate about improving equity in cancer care through evidence-based interventions, patient-centered communication, and data-driven policy.
