Catherine Toal
Catherine Toal is a fourth-year medical student at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. She began her research positions as an undergraduate at Dartmouth College, where she received a scholarship to study the role of the retrosplenial cortex in analyzing complex stimuli and consolidating fear response in animal models. During her time at New York Medical College, Catherine has pursued research across a range of fields, including pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, radiation oncology, and surgery. She hopes to pursue a residency in general surgery, with a special interest in burn surgery.
