I am a fifth-year Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan where I am working with Dr. Martha Matuszak, who is the Director of Advanced Treatment Planning in the Department of Radiation Oncology. As part of my dissertation work, I have developed a novel plugin script that facilitates the quantitative analysis of functional images within a commercial treatment planning system. I have worked in collaboration with members of the Biostatistics faculty to model the dose-function response in non-small cell lung cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy and to analyze delivered dose to various functional categorizations in the lung.
