Dr. Harvey Mamon is a radiation oncologist specializing in the gastrointestinal malignancies at the Dana Farber / Brigham and Women's Cancer Center and an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School. In his role as radiation oncology vice-chair of the GI Committee at the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology he has been involved in many national cooperative group trials. He has served on multiple ASTRO committees and taught several education courses at the annual meeting. At the ABR he has been involved in writing questions for the written boards and examining at the oral boards over many years. More recently, he he has turned his interest toward bioethics and is studying for a Masters Degree in Bioethics at Harvard Medical School.
