Hong Ge, MD

Hong Ge, Ph.D., is a female oncologist and serves as a Chief Physician and Second-Class Professor. She is also a doctoral supervisor and currently holds the position of Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Henan Cancer Hospital and Director of the Henan Radiation Therapy Center.Dr. Ge leads several key provincial and institutional research platforms, including the Henan Engineering Research Center for Intelligent Radiotherapy of Esophageal Cancer, the Henan Engineering Research Center for Proton and Heavy Ion Therapy, the Precision and Intelligent Radiotherapy Research Center at the Advanced Medical Research Institute of Zhengzhou University, and the Henan Provincial Key Laboratory of Cancer Radiotherapy.She is a recipient of the Special Government Allowance awarded by the State Council of China, and was recognized as an Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert with Remarkable Contributions by the National Health Commission (8th cohort). She has also been honored as a Central Plains Distinguished Physician and is listed among the High-Level Talents of Henan Province. Dr. Ge was a visiting scholar at Duke University in the United States. Her clinical expertise focuses on the radiotherapy and multidisciplinary treatment of thoracic malignancies, particularly esophageal and lung cancers.
