Hugh Lee, PhD, is an assistant professor of radiation oncology and joined the medical physics faculty in 2022. He earned his graduate degrees in electrical and biomedical engineering. He then completed a postdoctoral training in medical physics at UT Southwestern where he investigated the uncertainties of proton stopping power ratio estimation. He completed his residency training at UT Southwestern thereafter. His research interest includes adaptive radiotherapy/proton therapy, real-time volumetric imaging, and use of AI to improve clinical workflow and decision making.
