Ibrahim Durowoju is a medical student at the University of Toronto. Prior to entering medicine, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Master of Biotechnology, where he developed a keen interest in translational research and oncology innovation.
During medical school, Ibrahim has actively pursued clinical and research experiences in radiation oncology, with a particular focus on central nervous system (CNS) tumors and stereotactic radiosurgery. He is the lead author on a study investigating the utility of mid-treatment imaging during multi-day SRS treatment of multiple brain metastases, where he worked alongside a multidisciplinary team at Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Centre.
