Isabella Dreyfuss is a radiation oncology resident at the University of Miami's Sylvester Cancer Center, where she serves as the ARRO Education Chair, SWRO Research Chair, and leads national educational and mentorship initiatives for radiation oncology trainees. Her academic interests span CNS tumors, leptomeningeal metastasis, and the application of brain-sparing craniospinal irradiation, supported by translational and clinical research collaborations across institutions.


Dr. Dreyfuss earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Public Health from Nova Southeastern University and completed an MBA in Health Sector Management at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience was also completed at Duke, with a minor in Economics and a certificate in Markets & Management.


She previously worked in finance and consulting at J.P. Morgan and Accenture before transitioning to medicine. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Cancers, Critical Reviews in Oncogenesis, and Dermatologic Therapy, and she has presented posters at national conferences including ASTRO and the Southern Medical Association.


In addition to her research and leadership roles, Dr. Dreyfuss is passionate about cultivating an inclusive and innovative academic culture, especially for women in medicine. She holds tri-citizenship (USA, Brazil, Germany) and enjoys tennis, skiing, rowing, and science fiction in her free time.
