Justin Jagodinsky, MD, PhD
Justin Jagodinsky completed his undergraduate education at Coe College where he majored in molecular biology and neuroscience. After completing undergraduate research fellowships at the NIH and Oak Ridge National Lab he matriculated as an MD/PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he is currently in his M4 year of training. His graduate thesis work conducted under the direction of Dr. Zachary Morris involved a number of unique but interrelated radio-immuno-oncology translational research projects. All projects were centered around characterizing how different forms of radiation therapy influence immune activation within the tumor microenvironment using advanced immunophenotyping techniques including single cell RNA sequencing, single cell secretome analysis, and T cell receptor sequencing. His work was independently funded by NIH TL1 and F30 training grant mechanisms. He is currently applying to radiation oncology residency programs this cycle with the goal of becoming a physician-scientist.
