Katherine Bukolt, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, AOCNP

Katie Bukolt MSN, APRN, FNP-C, AOCNP, is currently employed as a Nurse Practitioner in Radiation Oncology and is the Advanced Practice Provider Manager at the Texas Oncology Baylor Sammons Cancer Center. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with additional certification as an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner and a certificate in Radiation Oncology. Katie received her BSN at Texas Tech University in 1998 and her MSN while living and working in Miami, FL, at Barry University in 2008. She is currently pursuing her DNP at the University of Texas at Tyler. She has been working exclusively in the field of Radiation Oncology as a Nurse Practitioner since 2011. She enjoys helping to expand the role of nurse practitioners in radiation oncology and serves as a mentor to new practitioners. She currently serves on the Advanced Practice Provider Executive Committee for Texas Oncology. She is very involved and has served on the Dallas Board of the Oncology Nursing Society for many years. She is a current faculty member of US Oncology’s APP bootcamp and is the current Chair of the APSHO Radiation Oncology APP committee. Katie has lectured locally and nationally on a wide range of topics related to the care of cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy in their management.
