I am an academic radiation oncologist specializing in genitourinary malignancies at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. My practice is part of our robust program in HDR/LDR brachytherapy and SAbR for localized prostate cancer and in integrating metastasis directed therapy into various stages of advanced prostate cancer. As an early career investigator, I lead the multi-center randomized control POTEN-C trial (NCT03525262, www.poten-c.org), which is currently interrogating MR-based sparing of neurovascular elements for sexual function preservation, and collaborate on cooperative group studies, including co-leading the in-development NRG GU-010 study concept for genomic risk stratified therapy intensity in unfavorable intermediate risk prostate cancer.

At ASTRO this year, I am honored to discuss the NRG/RTOG 0526 Investigator Teams presentation of updated data from their salvage LDR brachytherapy trial. I look forward to this and other presentations at ASTRO2020 re-invigorating our collaborations and spurring discussions about next steps in our practices, field and research.
