Roman Vasyltsiv is a 4th year PhD candidate in Medical Physics at Dartmouth College. He completed his bachelor's degree in engineering with a dual major in biomedical engineering and physics. His current research focuses on developing multi-dimensional in vivo surface dosimetry methods involving Cherenkov imaging and conformal wide area scintillation dosimetry for conventional and ultra-high dose rate (UHDR) radiotherapy. His prior work included the development of source monitoring techniques in high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy. His research contributes to advancing dosimetry methods that enhance the precision and safety of radiation therapy treatments across different delivery modalities.
