Xiaojian Chen, PhD

Xiaojian Chen earned his PhD degree in condensed matter physics from the University of California at Riverside. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in biophysics and then radiation oncology. He finished his medical physics training at the Medical Colleague of Wisconsin and became a medical physicist there. His research interests include adaptive radiation therapy, image guided radiation therapy, motion management, and medical imaging analysis. His current focus is on developing image-based applications, especially on the radiation dose responses of tumors and OARs for individualized radiation therapy
