I am a Radiation Therapy Supervisor with over 20 years of experience at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I hold a Bachelor of Technology in Radiotherapy from the Durban University of Technology, South Africa.
My role encompasses both clinical and administrative leadership, including staff appraisals, professional development, and performance improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care, safety, staff skills and workflow efficiency. I lead quality assurance efforts using MOSAIQ-based checklists and contribute to the development and implementation of Internal policies and Procedures.
As a member of the Departmental Research Committee, I actively support research and education. Currently, I am exploring the state of Radiation Therapist education and training in Saudi Arabia, with a focus on identifying gaps in clinical training and aligning curricula with international standards to advance RTT education nationwide.
