Dr. Zayne Belal is a senior radiation oncology resident at the University of Pennsylvania, where he has trained extensively in the treatment of a wide range of disease sites using advanced technologies such as SBRT, IMRT, IMPT, IGRT, SRS, and HDR brachytherapy. Dr. Belal completed a research position with the Fuller Lab at MD Anderson, where his work focuses on MRI-guided adaptive radiotherapy, AI-based treatment planning, and treatment-related toxicities in head and neck cancer. His research has resulted in national conference presentations and multiple manuscripts under peer review, including projects on auto-segmentation of swallowing structures and imaging biomarkers of radiation-associated complications.
