Zhe Chen, MD, PhD
Dr. Zhe Chen is a board-certified radiation oncologist at the University of Yamanashi Hospital. He received his MD from China Medical University in 2006 and earned his PhD in Medicine from the University of Yamanashi in 2023. After completing residency training in general medicine at the General Hospital of Shimada, he specialized in radiation oncology through a clinical fellowship at the University of Yamanashi.
His clinical expertise covers a broad range of malignancies including thoracic, breast, gastrointestinal, and pediatric cancers. He is skilled in advanced radiotherapy techniques such as SBRT, IMRT/VMAT, particle therapy, and brachytherapy. In addition to clinical care, he participates in ongoing clinical trials and is committed to the integration of image-guided and precision-based radiation therapy.
Dr. Chen is fluent in Chinese, Japanese, English, and Italian, and actively collaborates in international clinical and academic environments. He is a member of the Japanese Society for Radiation Oncology (JASTRO), and his research interests include treatment protocol optimization and the clinical application of advanced imaging in radiation oncology.
